Too excited, can't sleep!

It is 4am and I have to be at the specialist at 7. I woke up to pee and just COULD NOT go back to sleep. I am WAY too excited about my transfer this mening for sleep. Hope y'all have an amazing day...I plan to!!!

Failed Transfer

So on May 20th, we transferred two embryos and on Monday of this week I got the crummy news that neither took. Not thrilled about the negative beta, but we will try again in about two months! I am sad for the delay, but still so excited to help complete this family!!!

Five Years

fie years ago today, I was starting a family. Not my own family, at that point I thought my own family was complete. Life had other plans for me, but that's a post for a different day. Today is for celebrating the birth of two beautiful boys and the beginning of an amazing family that I had the honor of helping grow. That family was years an years in the making, I just stepped in at the end to help grow two previous little boys who are the apples of their daddies eyes.

Laying in that hospital bed, seeing the joy and wonder in those daddies faces I never imagined that I would be in the midst of a second journey. Yet here I am, impatiently waiting for paperwork and legalities to be finished so that I can start meds and begin this wonderous process in earnest. I can't wait to see the joy on the new parents faces when twir family grows, but I am thrilled to wish Filip and Lukas a very happy Fifth birthday! They aren't my children, but tht did change my heart and my life forever with their arrival.

WAITING...

So we are still waiting on the contract process. Once I get that I can sign it and get this thing started. I am so excited to help this couple have a baby, but the monotony of the legal process is draining me. I'm so ready for progress!!!

It's Official

We've been matched with amazing intended parents, we've been referred to legal to get our contracts completed. The process is moving forward and I am so in love with these parents. I CANNOT wait to give this amazing couple their baby!!!
